Where do you place your trust?

The bible says to trust in the lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your understanding. Acknowledge him in all you do, and he will make your way straight.

We as Humans go through life in one of two ways, one we try to control every aspect of life, or we just bounce back and forth with the waves. If we are the first way, then we believe we are in control so everything that goes wrong is our fault.

If we are the other way, we believe that nothing is in our control, then we are not at fault for anything. Therefore, we can blame everyone else for our life’s direction.

But as you can clearly see from scripture as a believer in Jesus, we allow the spirit of God to guide us, the waves of life come crashing down around us but cannot destroy us.

This is because our foundation is made with the unbreakable strength of GOD.

So, lean on him and he will guide you to heavens perfect life, everlasting.

God, I pray for your words to be seared in our minds and on our hearts so we can always lean on your understanding. Amen, Amen,Amen.

Moving through this day

Yes I said be a little self centered, this day reminding yourself why you chose to serve the Lord God. You have been forgiven for your shortcomings, because God the father loves you that much. Ask God and he will answer

Have you ever felt like You Are On the verge of a new level of peace, or a new level of understanding? How often do you Ask GOD to help you, (for no better words) level up, to reach that understanding just a thought away? We as humans who know good and evil, are often afraid of what understanding will look like. Ie. forgiveness for people who we just really don’t believe they deserve it. You know people who are at best only nice if it benefits themselves. Or even murderers who don’t seem remorseful in any way, A new level of faith and understanding could cause us to give up that pain.

This passage goes on to say, when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.

In scripture three men prove this passage, before king Nebuchadnezzar, Shadrach, Meshac and Abednego all where thrown in the fire of the hottest furnace, so hot that the men who threw them in where killed by the fire. They where not harmed nor did they smell like smoke.

Now does this mean we should walk through fire to test God. Absolutely not, it means as the fires of life flare up to destroy us we will be safe from harm. I praise God, Jesus for his Saving grace and mercy, For Jesus suffered to death for all who will believe.

Almost two years, have passed

It has been the most challenging, rewarding two years, since my former wife passed away. When it happened she knew it was going to, and even though I knew it was going to happen It still hurt. There are still moments when I miss her, but knowing that she is in heaven with Jesus allows me to move forward. I am remarried to the most beautiful woman and she loves me in spite of my shortcomings. May you all find a peace in your day that goes beyond the worldā€™s understanding. The peace that comes with knowing Jesus as your lord and savior. For he stands at the door knocking and waiting for you to open it and let him in. I pray you see my belief in Jesus the Christ as it is, stronger today than ever.

A motherā€™s heart

When a child is born, a mom sees the child she has loved from the moment she knew she was pregnant. All the pain, all the hurts, and all the child will do. She will hold in her heart, all that happens, and not one thing will change that love. When a woman adopts a child. she chooses to love that child through all the pain, all the hurts, and all the child will do, not one thing will change that love. Moms are a very powerful source of love created by God to show what Love can be. Praise God for all the Mothers of the world.

A MOMENT OF GRIEF

  I have had a new moment in grief, today while watching a television show. I watched this woman come to terms with the loss of her husband. She was a particularly good actress because it brought back a moment in my grief that ambushed me. I realized my feelings at the time, the moment I knew I was alone, for me this came well after Martha was buried.

  Did you know that if you love someone, you will grieve the loss of that person? It is love that causes us to notice the loss, and if you think it will not affect you then you are mistaken. Grief comes from the loss of anything you love, it can even be your job, an animal, an object. If you loved that person or thing a lot, it hurts even more so you grieve that loss. Grief diminishes, life goes on, but unfortunately grief only diminishes. So, when you have one of these moments try to remember the good times you had together instead of the moment grief tries to bring up. This is one of the ways I deal with grief.

  I want to tell you everyone grieves the same; I unfortunately can not do this, because I would be lying. People grieve on different timelines and in different ways some do not visibly show grief they bury their emotions. These people are the ones in the most danger of lashing out at others, however it may be days or years before it consumes them. But make no mistake they will grieve, and it will affect who they are period.

Ā  Some people move through grief rapidly, does this mean they loved the person or spouse less? No, it does not, I will tell you that I grieved my wife far before the day of her death. This is because in the back of my mind, I knew there was the risk of her passing away because of what the doctors kept saying, as well as my own research. Life is so short people, so live it well put your faith in God the father for he will enrich your life.

Jail Cell of SIN-2

Let a question enter your heart, am I free, or do I have bars of sin holding me back? In the last post about the ā€œJail Cellā€ of sin I explained that the bars to that cell are created AS we sin. This is much like the story of Ebenezer Scrooge. The ghost, Jacob Marley, Ebenezer’s partner; comes to him to warn him of the judgement he is about to endure. Marley explains the chains that he had created through selfish sin caused him to carry those chains for eternity. This is like the bars we create in our ā€œjail cellā€ when we choose to sin.Ā  But how could a loving God send his creation to hell? Ā The answer is, ā€œHe did not create hell for us, he created it for Lucifer, and his followers called demonsā€ (Pastor Eddy Brewer Capitol Hill Assembly Of God. Also, from other pastors). God who loved us so much gave us a way to escape our own created ā€œjail cellsā€ of sin. It is our sinful choices that send us to hell not God!

Lucifer and his demons are so mad at God for casting them into hell they seek to destroy all of Godā€™s creation. How much better it is in Luciferā€™s eyes that a man or woman be destroyed because they are made in the image of God. Therefore, he will take as many to hell with him as he can. This is the ultimate and only revenge he has against God for he knows his fate.  Because of his own arrogance he believed he could overcome and be God.

Our God being the loving caring creator that we know him to be, gave us the ultimate sacrifice, Jesus, to cover us so that we may be able to slip through the bars and escape our punishment. Then we can become completely free of the cell we created.

All we need to do is believe that Jesus died for our sins, accept Him into our lives, and receive the forgiveness that God has provided for us through His grace and His mercy.

ā€œMay God bless you, protect you, make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peaceā€. (Num 6:24-26)

Learning the words is not enough, understanding them is a must, Believing them is imperative to your maturity, because they bring you to purity.

We may not reach sanctification in the time we have on this earth. As we learn the words of God, believe them, understand them, we gain maturity, and purity, that refines us to sanctification. Praise Jesus our lord, and savior, Amen.

Understanding

When you accept that you , like every one else you are a sinner. Knowing now that no matter what you will live for eternity. Either in hell with eternal pain and suffering, or in heaven with eternal paradise. The choice truly up to you! If you will choose Jesus, confess that you are a sinner, accept Jesus as your savior, then and only then, are you saved. At that moment you are truly forgiven and covered by the sacrifice of Christ Jesus. Then No condemnation can be leveled against you, accept Jesus and you will be free, deny Jesus and you will spend all of eternity in pain and suffering. Chose life not pain, say these words in your heart and mind, Father who art in heaven, I confess that I am a sinner, please forgive me. Then God the father will forgive you.
